Michael Jackson Tribute

RIP MJ

I've been watching Michael Jackson videos on MTV and BET all day and have been falling in love all over again with his songs. I made this light hearted remix today in tribute to the King of Pop, and in remembrance of the good times his music brought.

I got a message from Big Nick about mastering some of my remixes for me. I'm not too keen on things about levels and hertz, but he is, and i'm thankful. He basically worked his magic and made the song much cleaner and speaker friendly. Not to mention the new and improved bass line.

So check out the new 300 lb mix of DR. WILY [lil scrappy ft. young buck money in the bank TKRMX] from the Mega Man Mixtape.

And look out for some more mastered TKRMX 300 lb mixes.

shit is awesome.

I got an e-mail from a guy who wanted me to check out some of his brother's songs for remix material. His brother's name is Christian Felix, and was described as "along the lines of Johnny Cash and Leonard Cohen". It was pretty cool stuff, and I ended up using three of his tracks for a 9 and a half minute, three-part song. yeah...

Christian Felix - Save Me ft. Kendra Lyons
DMX - Shot Down ft. 50 Cent, Styles P

Christian Felix - Our Path ft. Kendra Lyons
2Pac & Nas - Thugz Mansion

Christian Felix - Nobody Knows Me ft. Kendra Lyons
Outkast - Da Art of Storytelling pt. 1 ft. Slick Rick
